About me

I'm Nicola a professional Sommelier and food lover with over 10 years of experience in the wine industry and food management. I grew up in this region, in my family farm, always in contact with food and agricolture. I started to get interested in the wine during university and obtained my A.I.S. sommelier certification when I was 26. I have had the privilege of working for some of the most historic and famous wineries in the region: such as "Oddero Poderi e Cantine" (in La Morra) and "Coppo" in Canelli. I started the project "The Piedmont Boy" because I discovered this incredible need for me to share with other people the passion and love I have for this beautiful region and its incredible gastronomic and wine making traditions. I want you to understand the beauty of Piedmont, but also the ancestral resilience power that has made Piemonte and its people one of the most celebrated wine and food communities in the world.
